Welcome to the class blog for ENGL 250, Avatars of the Past @ Hood College! I look forward to sharing thoughts and conversation with you all, both here and in class, over the course of the semester. We'll consider a wide variety of texts. We'll listen to each other. And we'll examine and expand our own thinking about "history," "fiction," "texts," "characters," and lots of other big ideas.

And, hopefully, we'll avoid perpetuating "Tonypandy." ;-)
